REX continues its winning streak in the highly-acclaimed Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). After winning the "Best Children's Magazine" Award (for Backpack) in 2013 and the "Best Comics Story" Award (for Bread Basket) in 2014, 2015 proved to be another year of accolades for the company.

The "Healing Heart" column of Ilsa Reyes in CROSSROADS was awarded "Best Entertainment Column", becoming Rex Crown Publications Inc.'s first winner in the said category. This award also makes Rex Crown an awardee in all of the CMMA categories that it joins.

The theme for the 37th CMMA was "Communicating the Family: A Privileged Place of Encounter with the Gift of Love", based on the message of Pope Francis for World Communications Day in January 2015.

The CMMA Foundation received a total of 803 entries, with only 284 making it as finalists. Besides "Healing Heart", Rex Crown had eight other finalist-entries: Media & You (also for "Best Entertainment Column"); CROSSROADS (for "Best Youth Magazine"); Backpack and The Bread Basket (for "Best Children's Magazine"); and Ang Halaga ng Pagtitiwala, Higit ang Magkaloob, Sikreto ng Buhay na Kuntento, and Gaya ng Trigo (for "Best Comic Story").

Established in 1978 by the late Jaime Cardinal Sin, the CMMA is the Philippine Catholic Church's way of honoring those who have most effectively promoted Christian values in mass media such as radio, press, advertising, television, and film.
