The Educational Enrichment Materials Advisor is a field sales role responsible who will drive sales through the organization’s portfolio of new products, services and learning solutions.
To achieve SALES and DISTRIBUTION targets by performing the following duties:
•Find and convert warm leads into sales through effective account management and relationship building
•Contact and build relationships with schools and teachers within his assigned sales territory
•Promote services and products of RISE and Digital to current and prospective adopters.
•Collaborate and work closely with BED and/or SHS Materials Advisor to develop and implement effective and school-wide strategies that will maximize the value of Rex products and services.
•Develop and maintain relationships with target clients to assess individual and departmental needs and work with them to promote technological solutions to enhance classrooms (traditional and online) and support student learning
•Customize learning solutions to achieve students’ efficacy and learning outcomes and assist the schools with appropriate and approved tools and approaches to use in solving their problems
•Keep abreast of emerging behaviours, technologies and companies that are changing Rex client’s business
•Lead discussions with schools to extract business requirements and create opportunities
•Plan and implement sales strategies and programs in his assigned area
•Offer relevant learning solutions based on needs and requirements of schools
•Work closely with the Materials Advisor in covering of the accounts
•Completes regular reports as required
•Identify opportunities as they arise
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
•Degree in Education, Training & Development, Communication, Information Technology (comparable work-related experience acceptable)
•At least 1 year of B2B sales experience and account management
•Certification in technology related education (eg. Google, Apple, Microsoft) highly desired
•Previous experience in the education industry is an advantage
