Nurturing the Whole Child’s Spirit Through Character Formation
In our continuous effort to provide learning solutions for education in the Philippines. We at REX Book Store together with REX Crown Publications and the Catholic Media Network – Asia (CMN-Asia) are proud to announce the launch of our 2018 CLE Diagnostic Workshops 2018. The program aims to revisit schools’ Religion / Christian Living Education (CLE) Programs, pedagogical paradigms, methods & strategies, instructional materials, and personnel in light of K-12.
As part of our initiative to educate the Filipino Whole Child, this series of Seminar-Workshops is prompted by the onset of the K-12 directive which left many schools in a quandary as to the appropriate designs of their institutions’ Religion/CLE Programs that are both organic in content and spiral in movement.
Free for All School Administrators, Religion/CLE Subject Area Coordinators, and Teachers
The free seminar-workshop will give the participants (Administrators and SACs) a venue to seriously revisit the various aspects of their Religion/CLE programs which they may have taken for granted in the past for various reasons; thus, better prepare them to design their own programs that fit their context. At this workshop, the participants will have a chance to share their school’s best practices and unique challenges. They will discover their strengths, limitations and needs as we all confront the challenges of 21st Century Education.
The seminar will also include discussions about Strategies for the 21st Century Learning and Teaching of Religion/CLE like:
- The Power of Storytelling
- The Use of Modern Technology, Apps, and Platforms
- The Use of Social Media
- The Importance of Context, Reflection-Action
- The Indispensable Role of Witnessing/Role-Modelling
